POGWF) BRINGS INDO-TIBETAN MEDITATION AND TEACHINGS TO WESTERN STUDENTS AND NURTURES AND SUPPORTS COMMUNITY OF PRACTITIONERS. IN TUM, POGWF PROVIDES SUPPORT BACK TO INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES AND LINEAGE TEACHERS TO HELP THEM TO PRESERVE THEIR CULTURE AND TRADITIONS.HISTORICALLY, POGWF GENERALLY HAS NOT PROVIDED PROGRAMMING TO ACHIEVE ITS MISSION. MAJORITY OF OUR OBJECTIVES INVOLVE DIRECTING DONOR FUNDS TO OTHER ORGANIZTIONS, BOTH IN US AND ABROAD, WHO IMPLEMENT STATED PROJECTS. OUR TRANSLATION PROJECTS ARE A NOTABLE EXCEPTION.POGWF IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION.

DWSA STEAM ACADEMY: Operated Dinah Whipple STEAM Academy which seeks to inspire young people to enter STEAM pipeline and ultimately pursue STEAM-related careers by providing to students and their teachers experiential opportunities as well as Black experience with regular frequency throughout middle and high school years. Students connect with a panel of Black professionals in engineering field and learn from their experiences.
